Extron XTP T UWP 302 Two Input XTP Transmitter -
Wallplate |
Product Code:
XTPTUWP302
|
The XTP T UWP 302 is a two-input
transmitter that sends HDMI or RGBHV video, audio, and
bidirectional RS-232 and IR up to 330 feet (100 m) over a shielded
CATx cable. This three-gang wallplate transmitter supports
computer-video to 1920x1200, including HDTV 1080p/60 Deep Color and
2K. Incoming analog video signals are digitized for reliable
transmission, and separate analog stereo audio transmissions can be
embedded on the XTP® signal. Features include automatic
switching between inputs with selectable prioritization for easy
operation in unmanaged locations and insertion of bidirectional
RS-232 and IR for control of remote devices. Designed for XTP
Systems®, it can be powered by an XTP CrossPoint® matrix
switcher. The XTP T UWP 302 fits into a standard three-gang
junction box, providing convenient access while blending into an
environment.
The XTP T UWP 302 provides signal extension from remote sources for
high performance transmission of video, audio, and bidirectional
control over long distances. Video source signals may be HDMI or an
analog video format, with analog video signals digitized for
reliable enterprise-wide distribution. To streamline operations,
the transmitter features auto-switching that allows for simple,
unmanaged transmission from within a lectern or under a table.
Switching priority is configurable when multiple inputs are
active.
The transmitter features Extron-exclusive technologies to enhance
and simplify integration of HDMI-enabled devices. For encrypted
content, Key Minder® authenticates and maintains HDCP
encryption between devices to ensure quick and reliable signal
distribution. In addition, EDID Minder® automatically manages
EDID by maintaining continuous EDID communication with sources,
ensuring that all sources power up properly and reliably transmit
content to the destination.
The XTP T UWP 302 is compatible with a broad range of multi-channel
audio signals. For digital audio, the HDMI inputs enable
transmission of embedded audio or separate analog stereo audio
signals. This feature enables direct connection of separate stereo
audio signals from a laptop, Blu-ray Disc player, or other device.
In addition, the transmitter provides selectable analog stereo
audio input embedding. Embedding stereo audio into the signal
stream provides support of balanced/unbalanced stereo audio for
extended transmission, reducing the number of cable runs to the
destination. The transmitter also provides audio input gain and
attenuation control plus volume adjustment to manage the audio
signals from source endpoints. These features enable the output
volume level to be set, eliminating noticeable volume differences
when switching between sources.
To simplify installation in space-constrained applications, the XTP
T UWP 302 can be powered by the XTP CrossPoint® matrix
switcher. The remote power capabilities, reduced cabling needs, and
form factor of the transmitter allow for discreet placement in
space-challenged environments. The XTP T UWP 302 is designed to
provide convenient AV access that blends in with the
environment.
Extron recommends Extron-certified XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair
cable, shielded RJ-45 plugs, jacks, and couplers engineered for
optimum signal transmission with Extron XTP Systems. The XTP DTP 24
cable is certified to 475 MHz, and utilizes a SF/UTP design with
four unshielded 24 AWG twisted pair conductors inside an overall
braid and foil shield for superior performance and noise
immunity.
