The converter designed for using
in pro and consumer TV-complex configurations. It provides real
time HDMI to HD SDI (SMPTE 292M) and SD SDI (SMPTE259M) conversion.
It can be used for importing unrestricted (No HDCP) HD content from
HDMI camcorders and other video sources to HD-SDI devices such as
HD video mixers, switchers, encoders, video servers etc. A device
for use by professionals who need to interface low cost HDMI
devices to professional HD SDI equipment.
Applications:
Using small portable HD cameras in HD SDI studio.
Electronic news gathering (ENG)
Showing HDMI sources on HD-SDI monitors
Convert from DVI source (such as a PC workstation) to HD/SD-SDI
