The IRC-56 is the "Participant's" tabletop microphone used with the Azden 6-channel IR wireless conference system. This microphone can be set to any
one of 6 channels. It features a push ON /push OFF "talk" button and a glowing LED that comes on when the microphone is in use.
The IRC-56 can be powered by 6 "AA" Alkaline batteries or by 6 of
Azden's 1HR-3U rechargeable NiMH batteries, which can be charged while in the unit. In fact, the microphone can be used while the batteries are charging. Operating time on fresh batteries is approximately 4-5 hours.
