The Compact Prime lenses - a new set of
high qualtiy
lenses in the PL mount family for digital and film cameras.
Compact Prime lenses are based around the award-winning
optics of ZEISS ZF still photography lenses, which have
been optimized and built into completely new lens housings
designed specifically for cinematography. Benefiting
from the uncompromising standards of motion picture
equipment manufacturing, the Compact Prime lenses
deliver high image quality as well as the ergonomics and
robust construction demanded by the rigors of life on
the set. The Compact Prime lenses are an affordable
complement to digital and film cameras. |

Unique 14 blade
iris
The iris opening of the Compact Primes Lenses is
created by 14 high precision leaves. It stays consistenly
round and symmetrical over the whole T-stop range.
This translates into natural and pleasing out-of-focus
highlights and a smooth bokeh.
