With relevant accessories, the "basic" receiver is suitable to be used as:
- camera "slot-in" receiver
- camera "stand-alone" very small receiver, powered by 1.8 - 18 Vdc external source or by optional BCA 34 Battery power-supply module.

- remote TX battery monitoring
- tone-squelch operating
- PTT function (An optional back-panel module is available, with the secondary intercom AF-output).
