PG81 Instrument Microphone

Product Code:
PG81

A sensitive, flat response condenser microphone ideal for acoustic instruments.

PG81-XLR includes a 15ft (4.57m) XLR to XLR Cable, Microphone Clip, 5/8" to 3/8" Thread Adapter, and a Storage Bag.

PG81-LC includes a Microphone Clip, 5/8" to 3/8" Thread Adapter and a Storage Bag.

Features
  • Flat frequency response is wide and uniform. Consistent sensitivity through frequency range.
  • Cardioid polar pattern picks up the most sound from in front of the microphone and some sound from the sides. Less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings.
  • Condenser cartridge has a lightweight, sensitive diaphragm. Precisely and smoothly captures sound nuances.
  • Powered by AA battery or phantom power supply.
  • Internal shock mount for reduced handling noise.
  • Durable metal construction.
  • On/off switch for onstage control.

Specifications
  • Microphone Type : Condenser (electret bias)

  • Polar Pattern : Cardioid (unidirectional), symmetrical about axis

  • Polarity : Positive pressure on diaphragm produces positive voltage on pin 2 relative to pin 3 of microphone output connector

  • Output Impedance (at 1000 Hz) : 600 ohms

  • Sensitivity (at 1000 Hz) : -48 dBV/Pa, (4.0 mV), 1 Pascal = 94 dB SPL
