Dolly initial Adjustment (Adjusting the Black
Wheels) |
It is very important in order for the Universal Dolly to
work properly, that you adjust the distance between the black
wheels. This has only to be done once, but you can change it and
try slightly different gaps until you are happy with it.
|
The Black Wheels keep the Dolly on the track securely. There are
two black wheels on either side of the Rail.
You want to adjust them in a way so that the 2 wheels on either
side of the Rail barely touch the Rail on both
sides. |
2
Wheels on left side should barely touch the Rail.
2 Wheels on right side should barely touch the Rail.
|
|
|
With a 14mm tool and a 13mm tool loosen the screws that hold the 4
black wheels. Only loosen them, Don't Remove them!
Then slide one pair of wheels (either the one on the left side of
the Rail or the pair on the right side of the Rail) all the way to
its innermost position and tighten them firmly in that
position. |
|
Hold the wheel cluster up against a section of track and push the
Rail against the pair of Wheels that you already tightened.
Then push the loose pair of wheels against the Rail so it barely
touches it and tighten the nuts and bolts in that position.
Note: It helps to have a second person holding the
wheels in place while you tighten the
hardware. |
