ElightZ is the first
professional on-camera light designed specifically for handheld
cameras. Its high-efficiency 10 watt halogen light increases
photometric performance by blending with available light to produce
studio quality footage. Lightweight and compact, the 7.2 volt
ElightZ draws power from the ElipZ 10K battery through its
exclusive PowerPlug connector, so there's no need for a separate
battery, pouch pack or cables. The durable high temperature,
polycarbonate construction allows the ElightZ to remain on the
camera without adding significant weight or interfering with camera
operation. Designed with a unique modular mounting mechanism, the
ElightZ will mount quickly and easily to any camera with a shoe or
stud mount.
Other design features include a two-stage hinged boom to offer a
wide range of movement and removable light head bezel for quick
bulb changes and two mounting points for a wide variety of gels and
spun. Fully extended, the head is over 5 inches high and can be
extended forward to eliminate lens shadowing. Best of all, at the
end of a shooting day, the light folds away neatly into a compact
package.
