860 EVO (1TB) and 860 Pro (512GB and 1TB) SSDs. This marks our 18th firmware
update to our family of Odyssey and Apollo recorder/monitor products!

Overview:
The Odyssey family is a professional 7.7” OLED monitor with high-end monitor features, including
Waveform, Zebras, Histogram, Vectorscope, Focus Assist, False Color, Timecode Display and Audio Level Meters, and 1:1 Pixel mode. Odyssey7 includes HDMI I/O, and SD/HD/3G-SDI I/O; in both single and dual link configurations. As you have
come to expect from Convergent Design, Odyssey is low power, lightweight and comes in a rugged magnesium case.

Requirements to Upgrading Your Odyssey to a Professional Recorder
1. Purchase a full license, or rent, the appropriate recording options. Out-of-the-box, Odyssey7 & Odyssey7Q products are monitors only, without any
recording or playback capabilities. Recording options must be purchased (or rented) separately from the Convergent
Design website. A wide range of recording options will be available, including compressed, uncompressed and various flavors of RAW.
2. Purchase Convergent Design 2.5" SSD media. To record video, Convergent Design 256/512 GB SSD(s) must be inserted into the unit.
