The Reference Standard Accessory Kit completes the
modular principle for numerous combinations of microphone accessories, including
shock mounting, stereo boom positioning for AB, XY, ORTF, DIN and multiple
gooseneck special positioning needs, including magnet mounting in a piano frame.
All components can be clipped on and off the poles, adjusted, and turned upside
down, among other placements.
Here are a few ideas to inspire your microphone positioning:
Shock Mounting:
Fully adjustable, first-class anti-vibration mounting.
Place with or without base tilt, with or without the gooseneck and upwards or
downwards.
Stereo Boom:
The lightweight stereo boom with shock-mounted microphone holders addresses the
need for quick, precise and repeatable ways to switch between the AB, XY, ORTF,
and DIN stereo principles.
Markers indicate parallel microphone positioning plus a 90- and 110-degree
offset for XY and ORTF configurations. The spacer allows microphones to be
placed in coincident or near-coincident configurations, such as the XY or ORTF,
without the capsules touching each other. The base tilts allow the microphones
to be angled equally when mounting one piece between the boom and the stand or
individually, when using two pieces with the shock mounts. Also, with hooks for
wires, the boom can be suspended.
Mounting Inside the Grand Piano:
The gooseneck mount has standard European 1/8-inch threads in both ends and fits
microphone stands or the MB1500 magnet mounts. These accessories are especially
useful for mounting microphones inside the piano, directly at the board. Place
with or without the gooseneck and upwards or downwards. |
