This High Definition camera is
supplied as standard with the Sony PCS-XG80 and PCS-XG55 video
conferencing systems.
BrightFace technology by Sony ensures crisp, clear HD image quality
in any lighting conditions – even dimly lit rooms or with
strong backlighting from a sunny window.
The camera’s powerful 10x optical zoom range extends as high
as 40x with digital zoom, for wide-angle shots of the whole room or
frame-filling close-ups of individual participants.
Please note that this camera (PCSA-CXG80) is included as part of
the PCS-XG80 and PCS-XG55 video conferencing systems. It is not
sold separately.

See conference participants more clearly with crisply detailed HD
video quality. With a resolution of approximately 2 megapixels, the
camera’s 1/3-type CMOS sensor is teamed with BrightFace
technology by Sony that separately processes dark and light areas
in any scene. You’ll get a better view of every speaker
– even in dimly lit conference rooms or with strong
backlighting.
• Clearer, more natural
pictures
HD video signals are further refined with noise reduction,
backlight compensation and auto white balance for impressively
natural videoconferences that add an extra dimension of
realism.
• Pan/Tilt/Zoom
operation
PTZ adjustment is controlled by the main videoconferencing unit for
a clearly-framed image of the current speaker, wherever they are in
the room.
• Powerful 10x optical
zoom
Zoom in for high quality, frame-filling close-ups of individual
presenters. Or zoom out for a wide-angle view of everyone in the
room. Digital zoom boosts maximum magnification range even higher
to 40x.
