Zoom H6 is the essential audio recorder for location videography. Its supplied MSH-6 mic capsule and onboard MS decoding, plus the ability to record up to 6 tracks simultaneously, gives you plenty of options in post-production.

This audio quality was excellent. It is very responsive if you've ever used any kind of multi-track recorder. The menu system is very simple. Only thing negative was lack of jam-sync-able time code. But I am good with this kind of pricing.

Versatile recorder, good sound quality for the price, good battery life. I still rate the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder high despite the fact the the 3.5mm stereo line is on the X/Y mic rather than the recorder body itself.

I purchased the H6 to record speaking events and interview style videography for my university course projects.
