Sony HXR-NX3 Review
Lack of SDI input

This is an ideal choice of Camcorder for me, built in with a 20x fixed lens zoom. High quality sensor allows me to capture wonder video. However the following are some shortcomings.
1. Unlike its bigger brother HXR-NX5 ,It does not come with an SDI output, merely HDMI, thus it is not suitable for my events shot which I need to run a long cable to the mixer
2. The built in LED light will need a filter to make the light softer, and the light is not dimmable. - It should be adjustable
3. It does not support Sony MI Audio input - SMAD-P3
4. It will be good if the cameras support streaming function enable FTP upload
From the experience using Sony HXR-NX3 and HXR-NX5, I have learnt that both have its own strong features and discrepancies. Sony developed new HXR-NX5R upgraded version Camcorder that combine the best features from NX3 and NX5.
