Equipped with Intelligent 80x Zoom/Optical 50x Zoom, these models

quality. The V520 Series lets users easily shoot distant subjects
that are too far away to capture clearly with conventional zoom
functions.
5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. + with Level
Shot Function The V520 is also equipped with Level Shot
Function, in addition to the 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. +. Level Shot
Function automatically detects and corrects the tilting of captured
images. It records more horizontal images even if when shooting in
an unstable or awkward position such as low-angle or high-angle
shooting.
Real Time
Broadcasting
Built-in Wi-Fi function enables Real Time Broadcasting of important
events via Ustream. This lets you deliver live images to people
with Internet access around the world. There is also a function to
send e-mail to notify the start of broadcasting to preregistered
e-mail addresses.
One-Touch Connection with
NFC
Without bothersome initial settings, NFC lets you connect a
smartphone or tablet to the camcorder in one touch.
Even without NFC, you can use QR code to make Wi-Fi settings

away from home, you can monitor and record there with high-quality

dedicated Panasonic Image App, you can remotely check audio
recording, zoom IN/OUT and shutter ON/OFF, while viewing the live
image on a smartphone or tablet.
Highlight Playback and

You can enjoy Highlight Playback with a smartphone or tablet right
after shooting. Favorite scenes can be shared on SNS with simple

Wireless TV
Playback
An access point at home can be used to transfer data wirelessly to
the TV or a tablet in the living room, or other rooms in the home.
You can play back images on the large-screen display*.
* The wireless access point (router) is required.
Eye-Fi Compatible
By using the Eye-Fi™ card, you can save files recorded on the
card on a PC, or upload them to SNS via a wireless network. You can
also directly transport the data to your device (smartphone, tablet
etc.) without connecting another access point.
• The functions of the Eye-Fi™ card (including wireless
transmission) are not guaranteed to work on this product. In the
case of a malfunction of the card, please contact the card
manufacturer.
• To use the Eye-Fi™ card, permission from the national
or regional government is required. Do not use if you have not
obtained permission. If you are unsure as to whether use is
permitted, please check with card manufacturer.
• Install the software supplied with the Eye-Fi™ card
in advance on your PC, and configure the Eye-Fi™ settings.

Creative Control
Filter effects – Miniature Effect, 8mm Movie, Silent Movie
and Time Lapse Recording – makes it possible to shoot
impressive video recordings that are matched to the shooting
situation.
Stereo Zoom Mic
Sound from two directions is recorded in 2 ch by forward-facing
stereo microphones. Sound is recorded with changing the
directionality in conjunction with the zoom operation. The New Wind
Noise Canceller optimizes the level of the low-cut filter to match
the noise volume, effectively reducing the noise to enable clear
audio recording.
10.0-megapixel Still Picture

Still Picture Recording mode lets you shoot with a maximum
resolution of 10 megapixels.*

3.0-inch Wide Touch LCD The
easy-to-view 7.5 cm / 3.0" wide LCD screen allows intuitive
fingertip touch-operation. When shooting, you can use Touch Shutter
to automatically focus when shooting still images by simply
touching the subject on the screen. For playback, you can also
change thumbnail pages by sliding a fingertip across the screen.
You get smooth, intuitive operation and don't have to take your
eyes off of the LCD screen.
Plug and Copy to External
HDD
Recorded data can be easily copied to an HDD without having to use
a PC.
• In the following cases, a USB HDD cannot be used by
connecting it to this unit
- A USB HDD with a capacity of below 160 GB or above 2 TB
- When a USB HDD has two or more partitions
- If a USB HDD is in a format other than FAT32
- When connected by using a USB hub
- When a USB HDD is not a desktop type
2D/3D Conversion
Images that were shot in can be easily transformed into 3D images
with the 2D to 3D Conversion function, by simply connecting the
camcorder to a 3D-compatible TV with an HDMI cable.
iA (intelligent Auto) /
iA Plus Mode
This powerful function senses the shooting conditions and
automatically makes the settings and activates functions that
deliver optimal results. In addition, the iA Plus Mode enables you
to adjust exposure compensation and white balance by just push the
button on the LCD.
