I have just got my MARS300 from Expandore,

I ready like the product, as we need cableless and permanent fixed installation, this product fits our requirement well Both transmitter and Receiver can be powered by AC with additional purchase of the AC/DC power adapter.

And many thanks for the recommendation of 9 solutions clamping tools to make the installation look so neat.

Abusing the wireless Video system Hollyland Mars300
I have just bought a set of Mars300 which uses HDMI connection and with a loop thru of HDMI. My purpose of having this wireless HDMI transmission is to monitor my Gimble shoot.

This small gesture works well for me even with slight out of line of sight for not more than 5m, I got the video signal. I powered both RX and TX using Sony L series battery.

At price point less than Singapore dollar of SGD 800, I am definitely pleased with it, It does help me cablelessly.

Few days ago I was called upon by my dear client to assist an grand event which required their video Projection of its Power point and some U-Tube footages over the overhang huge projector.

However I informed that was not my forte as I am a videographer and not an event guru, but he attempted it hopefully I could help.

The laptop need to be connected via HDMI thru the patch panel which is having connection with their overhang projector at about 35m away, but the connection was faulty for unknown reasons.

The projector was not able to receive the signal, and it was even more pressuring that we had left with one hour to fix the issue before the event could start. How’s the hell to get this 35m HDMI cable at the last minute.

At this crucial moment, I Suddenly saw a “light bulb”. Without hesitation I quickly pulled out my Hollyland Mars300.

This was what I had done.
With the wireless Mars300 transmitter connected to the Laptop via HDMI and placing the wireless receiver on top of the projector and have it connected
(the best luck was the new projector has an HDMI connection).

BOOM!!!!, it worked
However during the event I kept stressing to the client that my Mars300 was not designed for this usage but just to kill the “fire”. I was praying the whole day that the signal would not drop, due to large presence of crowd.

The whole event went on smoothly using my Mars300 wireless connection. The laptop images, be it a power point or video playback from laptop were well presented by the projector.

The whole episode did not save my day, but my client. He paid me well for abusing my wireless Mars300.
