Overview:
Panasonic Lumix GH5 is a mirrorless camera and accepts Micro Four Thirds System and Lens mount. It is able to work without low pass filter as it has designed with a new 20.3 Live MOS chip. GH5 is capable of capturing sharp and clear images upto ISO 6400 even in low light conditions. The camera has developed to record footage in 4K and the crop factor is reduced in 4K video a bit, to 2x.

GH5 is a weather and dust resistant camera and weight only 0.725kg. GH5 features dual SD card slots and full sized HDMI output with cable lock. It also features 5-axis in body stabilisation, and an improved autofocus system. GH5 uses Panasonic’s depth-to-defocus AF system. For video users, there’s also a virtual focus pull setting, via the touch screen. GH5’s EVF is built with an OLED type display.

For audio recording, Panasonic is also releasing a dual XLR interface, which connects to the camera’s smart shoe; the camera keeps its 3.5mm headphone and mic jacks. The GH5 will not work with YAGH unit designed for GH4.

GH5 is a 4K, 10-bit camera and can shoot at up to 60fps in UHD 4K. There is no recording limit on the new camera and
also film 4:2:2 10 bit 4K internally and externally. External recording is also possible in recording to SD cards. GH5 also offers Log recording.

GH5 also features 6K photo mode – which allows photographers to take high resolution stills from 30fps video recordings and the camera will support 4:3 video recording for anamorphic lenses. Slo-mo recording is up to 180fps in HD.
